WELCOME TO IES FEDERICO MAYOR ZARAGOZA

Hello, our new language assistant! I am glad that you are reading this page. My name is Jesús Cejas and I am the language coordinator for the High School “Federico Mayor Zaragoza”. It’s in Seville, in the south of the city, surrounded by countryside and with a river nearby.

Here you’ll find two documents and a presentation about the school and all the necessary information on how to arrive to the school. Please read them in this order so that it will make sense to you:

1. Information sheet for language assistants. This document provides you with basic information about the school and our city, Seville.

2. Ficha de información para auxiliares de conversación. This document is in Spanish and contains the same information as the one above. It is a good chance for you to brush up on your Spanish!

3. A presentation entitled “Auxiliares de conversación”. This is a presentation and it is written in both English and Spanish. It includes more detailed information about the duties and responsibilities of language assistants. I strongly recommend that you read it, so you can have a clearer understanding of what you are expected to do in our school.
